Boston, MA (PRWEB) June 23, 2016
Cybereason today announced that CEO Lior Div has been named a finalist for the 2016 EY New England Entrepreneur of the Year. An awards gala is taking place Thursday, June 23, 6:30-9:00 pm at the Marriott Copley Place in Boston. Winners will be announced at this time.
Div co-founded Cybereason with Yossi Naar and Yonatan Striem-Amit in 2012, as cyber attacks evolved and became a threat for corporations of all sizes and in all industries. Div and his team built a platform that disrupt and eliminate cyber attacks in real time. Dozens of companies are using Cybereason’s award-winning, real-time Detection & Response Attack Platform to hunt adversaries.
The EY awards program, which is celebrating its 30th year, recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Div was selected as a finalist by a panel of independent judges.
Cybereason has a proven track record of protecting Fortune 500 enterprises globally. The company has received many awards and accolades since it launched its detection and response platform in 2014. Most recently, SC Magazine named Cybereason ‘Rookie Security Company of the Year.’ In addition, Infosecurity Products Guide named CEO Lior Div ‘2016 CEO of the Year’ while Computer Reseller News named Cybereason’s Detection and Response Platform one of 30 cool products launched at the 2016 RSA Conference. And Dark Reading named the company one of the ‘20 Cyber Security Startups to Watch in 2016.’
“It is very humbling to be named a finalist by EY from a list of highly distinguished and proven leaders in New England,” said Div. “New England has an entrepreneurial spirit and a level of ingenuity that is rarely rivaled in other regions of the United States. The access to higher education and a deep talent pool of potential employees led to my locating our corporate headquarters in Boston and it was clearly the right move as we continue to grow at a rapid pace.”
Founded by members of the Israeli intelligence agency’s elite cyber security Unit 8200, the Cybereason platform mirrors the founders’ expertise in handling some of world’s most complex hacking operations. The Cybereason Detection and Response Platform leverages big data, behavioral analytics and machine learning to uncover, in real-time, complex cyber-attacks designed to evade traditional defenses. It automates the investigation process, connects isolated malicious events and visually presents a full malicious operation. The platform is available as an on premise solution or a cloud-based service. Cybereason is privately held and headquartered in Boston, MA with offices in Tel Aviv, Israel and Tokyo, Japan.
