W. L. Gore & Associates (Gore) continues to engineer ground-breaking solutions that meet the aerospace industry’s growing demand for faster digital networks, more power performance, higher-quality in-flight entertainment (IFE), improved fuel efficiency, and less maintenance and downtime.

Gore will showcase its full portfolio of GORE® Aerospace Cables and Materials at the Farnborough International Airshow in London on 11-17 July 2016, Hall 1, Stand B111. Gore will also display their cables and materials installed on an authentic F-35 pilot ejector seat.

Products that will be highlighted include small, lightweight interconnect systems; durable tapes and gaskets; and outstanding shielding materials such as:

  • GORE® Aerospace High Speed Data Cables deliver outstanding signal integrity and data transmission over longer distances that meet new and standard protocols such as Ethernet Cat5e and Cat6a, USB 3.1, HDMI 2.0, fiber optics, and more.
  • GORE® Microwave/RF Assemblies reduce cable replacement costs by maintaining low insertion loss and excellent phase and amplitude stability with flexure before and after installation, during use, and over time.
  • GORE™ SKYFLEX™ Aerospace Materials include a wide variety of lightweight, no-cure tapes and gaskets that solve many challenges such as sealing, abrasion, corrosion and gap filling. These materials are specified by leading civil and military aircraft OEMs and often used as an alternative to Form-In-Place (FIP) seals.

From the cockpit to the tail, Gore’s advanced cables and materials deliver exceptional performance in the most challenging environments over the life of the aircraft — proven performance in extremely demanding environments.
