World Masters Games and Adventure Tours in New Zealand
(PRWEB) June 28, 2016 -- Kiwi’s are proud to host this renowned event and excited to be able to share their special destination.
The Masters Games is the World’s largest multi-sport event attracting athletes from all corners of the globe. Naturally many athletes and their entourage will want to explore New Zealand during their stay, which is where Active Adventures can help. Active Adventures New Zealand offers fully guided multi-sport tours on both the North and South Island ranging from 5 to 14 days in length. Their trips are all inclusive and allow guests to experience the highlights of New Zealand, as well as many of the lesser known areas, under their own steam.
They've been running their unique blend of adventure tours in New Zealand for over 20 years, so guests can rest assured knowing they're going to be travelling with the experts. Active pride themselves on legendary Kiwi hospitality and they take care to pick the very best guides to share their backyard.
Whether Masters Games athletes want to ‘wind up’ or ‘wind down’, they'll find Active trips to be flexible and accommodating.
Pam Taylor joined a signature Rimu trip in March 2016, and this was her feedback:
“Rejuvenating for the Body, Mind and Spirit
The Rimu trip exceeded my expectations. The combination of activities -- hiking, snorkeling, sea kayaking, and bicycling -- was perfect for us. We don't consider ourselves to be strong hikers, but we stay pretty active. The Rimu itinerary kept us challenged in a good way. We particularly liked the structure of the itinerary, home-cooked meals, homey-type accommodations, etc. We plan to travel with Active Adventures in the future.”
Active Adventures has already received plenty of enquiry about their trips that are running during the World Masters Games, so they decided to put on some special departures, to fit in nicely with athlete's schedules – see the image above in the slideshow, or check availability to learn more.
Active take up to 14 guests on each tour, and they can tailor one of their itineraries to suit a private departure, if that’s something that athletes would like to organize. They've also crafted their North Island ‘Kauri’ adventure to join nicely with a number of our South Island trips, for those who are keen to see the whole country – something that any Kiwi would definitely recommend, given the diversity on offer.
Get in touch with Active Adventures to check availability or request a free New Zealand adventure tour brochure. They can also arrange for Games athletes to speak to one of their past travelers, to hear a first-hand experience.
