Drummond Group Joins TWAIN Working Group Board of Directors
Raleigh, NC (PRWEB) June 28, 2016 -- The TWAIN Working Group (TWG), a not-for-profit organization designed to provide and foster a universal public standard which links applications and image acquisition devices, today announced the addition of Drummond Group LLC to its Board of Directors. Uniquely positioned to assist developers in providing tested and interoperable products that work, Drummond Group will play an instrumental role in assisting TWG with the continued delivery of a communications standard that benefits the imaging industry as a whole.
Said Kyle Meadors, Drummond Group President, “We specialize in testing and refining products in a trusted and vendor-neutral environment. TWAIN has been an accepted standard in the technology industry for many, many years, and the TWG member companies consistently work hard to continue to deliver a standard that furthers the imaging industry and will accommodate future technologies. We joined the group because we are confident that we can assist TWAIN in gaining further market acceptance and recognition, and we are certain we can contribute to the refinement of the standard with our testing and certification expertise.”
“The addition of a testing and certification company to the TWAIN Board is the perfect complement,” states Jon Harju, Chair of the TWAIN Working Group and CTO at Visioneer Inc. “Drummond Group offers the skills and experience that are required for developing standards that enable vendors to become a recognized and trusted part of a complete solution. We are very excited to welcome Drummond Group as a new TWAIN board member and look forward to working together.”
