Identity Automation Names Walt Nowicki as Vice President of Worldwide Sales
HOUSTON, TX (PRWEB) June 28, 2016 -- Identity Automation, provider of the most scalable full-lifecycle identity and access management (IAM) solution on the market, today announced that it has named Walt Nowicki vice president of worldwide sales. Nowicki will be responsible for leading Identity Automation’s global sales organization, growing its customer base and expanding into new markets.
“As software continues to eat the world, companies rely on a plethora of software applications to run their businesses. Employee access to these software applications can present a serious security risk that leads to data breaches. As a result, organizations need to not only arm themselves, but be in control of the access management systems that protect them from these risks,” Nowicki said. “As the company that provides the most cost-effective and fully integrated platform with centralized access management, multi-factor authentication and comprehensive identity governance and compliance, Identity Automation equips business with the ammunition they need to mitigate these breaches, quickly and efficiently. I’m excited to join the Identity Automation team and bring the technology to new markets.”
Nowicki brings more than 20 years of sales and senior-level experience in the technology industry to Identity Automation. He joins the company from ServiceNow, where he spearheaded a division that grew to a $4 million per year business. Prior to ServiceNow, Nowicki held various sales and leadership positions at Accenture, VMware, BMC Software, Symantec and Dell.
“As enterprises continue to transition from legacy systems to cloud-based environments, the demand for an economical, highly customizable IAM solution that can modernize infrastructures and provide security at the same time has exponentially increased,” said James Litton, CEO of Identity Automation. “Walt’s experience and proven sales development and expansion success will help Identity Automation not only make a bigger move into the enterprise space, but also solidify us as the IAM leader. We’re thrilled to have Walt leading our sales organization and welcome him to the team with great enthusiasm.”
Nowicki’s appointment follows Identity Automation’s recent announcement of RapidIdentity 4.0, a scalable, full-lifecycle IAM solution that allows organizations to streamline security, limiting risk from data and network breaches, while improving organizational agility and reducing IT cost. In addition to providing customers unmatched scalability through the ability to manage eight times more users without additional hardware investments, RapidIdentity 4.0 provides customers with a newly designed mobile interface for improved user experience and a redesigned API and upgraded metadirectory for greater customer flexibility.
