David Broering, NFI’s Senior Vice President of Brokerage, will speak at Harvard Law’s Reduce & Recover: Save Food for People conference on Wednesday, June 29, 2016. Broering will serve as a panelist in the session titled “Community Food Security Methodology,” looking at methodologies of food recovery.
NFI engineers end-to-end supply chain solutions, spanning across many industries including food and beverage. Broering oversees NFI’s brokerage solution, providing a suite of logistics solutions that prioritize service and safety. With operations across North America, NFI delivers industry-leading solutions to help customers achieve their supply chain goals.
The conference, hosted by Harvard’s Food Law and Policy Clinic, focuses on the Environmental Protection Agency’s Food Recovery Hierarchy of source reduction and feeding hungry people. In addition to serving as a panelist, Broering will host two workshops for the 350 plus attendees on logistics operations solutions.
“Often times logistics is where a food recovery organization faces many challenges,” says Broering. “With these workshops, I aim to provide individualized solutions and insight into how efficient logistics operations can positively impact an organization’s mission.”
