Giving Back Event Results in Over 500 Personal Care Items Donated
Eden Prairie, Minnesota (PRWEB) June 29, 2016 -- Growth Through Giving Back
An important element for all companies is growth and is commonly reflected in a company’s bottom line. Like many businesses, Survey & Ballot Systems (SBS) measures growth through the bottom line; however, we also believe growth occurs through giving back.
From June 6, 2016-June 24, 2016, SBS held a 3 week giving back event to collect personal care items, which will be donated to Mary’s Place, a transitional shelter located in Minneapolis, MN. To make the event a fun competition within the office, employees were placed on one of three teams and the team with the most donated items won a pizza lunch.
A total of 517 personal care items were donated. “With 22 full-time employees it was great to see the number of donated items over 500, a good reminder that smaller sized companies can make a big difference. I also enjoyed seeing everyone pull together for the event, knowing it’s making a difference in other people’s lives,” said Paul Bordson-Nolle, SBS Account Manager.
About SBS: SBS has been setting the standard in election management since 1990. We connect associations, organizations, cooperatives and credit unions with their members through online, paper and hybrid elections, surveys and evaluations.
