“With 22 full-time employees it was great to see the number of donated items over 500, a good reminder that smaller sized companies can make a big difference," said Paul Bordson-Nolle, SBS Account Manager.

Growth Through Giving Back

An important element for all companies is growth and is commonly reflected in a company’s bottom line. Like many businesses, Survey & Ballot Systems (SBS) measures growth through the bottom line; however, we also believe growth occurs through giving back.

From June 6, 2016-June 24, 2016, SBS held a 3 week giving back event to collect personal care items, which will be donated to Mary’s Place, a transitional shelter located in Minneapolis, MN. To make the event a fun competition within the office, employees were placed on one of three teams and the team with the most donated items won a pizza lunch.

A total of 517 personal care items were donated. “With 22 full-time employees it was great to see the number of donated items over 500, a good reminder that smaller sized companies can make a big difference. I also enjoyed seeing everyone pull together for the event, knowing it’s making a difference in other people’s lives,” said Paul Bordson-Nolle, SBS Account Manager.

About SBS: SBS has been setting the standard in election management since 1990.
