As of June 2016 the State of Utah has reached a total of $11,755,000 in savings on their prescriptions and the number continues to climb. Utah County was the first county to adopt the program and Davis County was the most recent. The Coast2Coast Rx card allows all Utah residents, regardless of income, age, or health status to participate in the program and save on the cost of their medications. The program has saved cardholders throughout the nation an average of 60 percent in 2016 on the cost of prescription drugs. The Coast2CoastRx program has been implemented in seven Utah Counties so far.

“The Utah Association of Counties has endorsed the Coast2Coast Rx program since its launch nearly three years ago. The Coast2CoastRx program continues to help those who cannot afford their prescriptions,” said Utah Association of Counties Executive Director Adam Trupp. Trupp added, “UAC is proud to offer the service of discounted prescriptions to Utah residents and their families." The Utah Association of Counties has endorsed the Coast2CoastRx program and encourages all Utah counties and their residents to participate.

The Rx card is distributed free of charge and may be used at all pharmacy chains and most independent pharmacies in Utah and includes over 60,000 drugs in its formulary. Residents who would like to participate in the free Coast2CoastRx prescription savings program can print a card here:
