Business Architecture Associates (BAA) announced today the launching of its inaugural website at businessarchitectureassociates.com. Founded on the principle of quickly and effectively imparting knowledge on the increasingly important discipline of business architecture, BAA provides comprehensive training to wide-ranging, international organizations that seek to initiate, mature, and accelerate business architecture programs. BAA courses are based on the formal framework and best practices outlined in “A Guide to the Business Architecture Body of Knowledge®” (BIZBOK® Guide), developed by the Business Architecture Guild. All Business Architecture Associates courseware has been developed and is delivered by individuals who hold Certified Business Architect (CBA)® certification status. BAA courses provide a strong foundation for preparing business architects to sit for the Certified Business Architect (CBA)® exam, the world’s leading business architecture certification program.

Cofounded by Whynde Kuehn, Principal of S2E Consulting Inc., and William Ulrich, President of TSG, Inc., Business Architecture Associates provides public training offerings and delivers in-house training to teams, with a focus on an organization’s specific needs. Partner Whynde Kuehn said, “Our organization strives to help businesses build an advantage with business architecture, which bridges the gap between strategy and execution. We are results-focused and ultimately help teams achieve better business results for their customers, their partners, their employees and the organization overall.” BAA Partner William Ulrich added, “As practitioners, we feel strongly that it is important to impart the latest in best practices and industry advancements in our course offerings. This is particularly true when it comes to working with teams and individuals in our open workshop sessions.”

Both Kuehn and Ulrich are long-time practitioners of business architecture. Kuehn is also cofounder, Board Member, and Editorial Board Chair of the Business Architecture Guild, and was recently named Senior Consultant to Cutter Consortium, Business & Enterprise Architecture practice. Ulrich is President and cofounder of the Business Architecture Guild, as well as Editorial Board Advisor, an active contributor to the international standards community, including Open Group and the Object Management Group, and was recently named a Cutter Consortium Fellow.

This fall, BAA will run public training events in Chicago, IL, October 17–21 and in London, England, November 7–11. These training courses are offered in comprehensive five-day packages for individuals and corporations, or participants may take individual, à la carte classes.
