Mediaplanet Launches Water Quality Campaign in Partnership with the Water Quality Association, Elkay Manufacturing, the Environmental Protection Agency and More

Today, Mediaplanet announced the distribution of its second edition of “Water Quality,” an informative and inspiration publication on innovative water quality solutions.

Water Quality teaches readers what to look for in their water and the products and companies that are doing their part to provide clean water to our communities. Joel Beauvais, the Associate Administrator for the Office of Water at the Environmental Protection Agency says “While there are many challenges that we face, we want to ensure that you have the tools that you need so that you know what’s in your water. We encourage you to learn more and take action!”

Among the campaign partners is actress and activist Mary Elizabeth Ellis. She has recently set out on a journey, partnering with Well Aware, an Austin, Texas based non-profit, to provide awareness about water conservation and providing access to clean water in impoverished communities in Africa.

This Water Quality Campaign also more details about the occurrences in Flint, Michigan. The Water Research Foundation helps to further explain the toxic iron and lead levels in the cities drinking water. It goes on to explain what we can do to prevent these crisis’ in the future by explaining the EPA regulations for safe drinking water. GE Appliances helps to explain easier ways to choose home water filtration systems in three easy steps, “Contaminant reduction, Third-Party certification, and Filter replacement”. The print component of “Water Quality” is distributed within USA TODAY in the Detroit, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Chicago, and Atlanta markets with a circulation of 250,000 copies to an estimated readership of 750,000.
