Charlotte, North Carolina based digital marketing agency Atypic, makes it to the final round of the 2016 K1ck It With Cam! Kickball Tournament. The final round was against Cam Newton's team and though Atypic fell short, they did learn a lot. Atypic's Digital Marketing Director, Fergus Horner said, "Losing in the final round and coming in 2nd place is the hardest pill to swallow!" He went on to say that it was a hard loss but the event was a huge win. "We did learn that we work well as a team both inside and outside of the office, and that the most important part of the event was to have fun and be part of a great cause!"

The 2nd annual K1ck It With Cam! Kickball Tournament took place on Friday, June 10th at Memorial Stadium just outside of Uptown Charlotte and attracted the Charlotte community, and Carolina Panthers fans as far as Atlanta, Georgia. Some of Cam Newton's friends came out to play including, Tim Tebow - who played with Cam Newton for a season at The University of Florida, Gary Sheffield, soon to be basketball Hall of Famer, Allen Iverson and many other Panthers players such as Greg Olsen, Kelvin Benjamin, Ted Ginn Jr., Fozzy Whittaker, Brenton Bersin as well as the newly acquired cornerbacks Zack Sanchez and Shaquille Richardson. Also in attendance was a fan favorite, Josh Norman, who will be sorely missed from the Carolina Panthers team this year.

The event was to raise money for the Cam Newton Foundation, a non-profit whose mission is to ensure that children's socioeconomic, educational, physical, and emotional needs are enhanced.
