PNP Robotics, the creator of the world’s first intelligent dog crate, is launching a Kickstarter campaign to support its therapeutic dog den for dogs with anxiety; The Zencrate.

Created by Chris Lightcap and Jonathan Azevedo, both mechanical engineers, the Zencrate is a long-awaited remedy that leverages technology to soothe dogs with anxiety. Beyond an elegant design, the Zencrate is constructed to provide a safe place for dogs during anxiety attacks using a number of scientifically-proven strategies, including sound therapy and vibration-dampening technology. Lightcap and Azevedo have forever changed the way pet owners, animal shelters, and veterinarians approach animals with anxiety, and how people view animal crates.

The Zencrate is the Internet of things meets dog crates. The technology-laden dog crate places owners back in control by arming them with the ability to do something about their dog’s anxiety. Now, pet owners have a preemptive solution to comfort their dogs, regardless of where they are during an anxiety attack.

After the brief initial setup, the intelligent dog crate doesn’t require additional human interaction to send and receive data, making the crate a welcomed, practical, and hands-off approach to managing dogs with anxiety. Set it, go, and remain informed is the idea behind the Zencrate. No matter where pet owners may be, the ongoing connection between the Zencrate and their smartphone keeps dog owners apprised of their dog’s movements inside the crate. Pet owners can rest assured knowing their dog is at ease when they peek at their dog using the webcam embedded in the doggy den.

The Zencrate delivers peace of mind for dog owners and solace for traumatized dogs. In fact, the Zencrate isn’t solely for thunderstorms; it works for all loud noises that may trigger an anxiety attack. Just in time for the 4th of July fireworks, when many dogs stricken with anxiety as a result of loud noises will be on pins and needles, the Zencrate is sure to save the day.

In anticipation of the Kickstarter campaign, the Zencrate is currently undergoing clinical tests and field-testing in animal shelters, veterinarian offices, and pet owner’s homes.

The Kickstarter campaign is tentatively scheduled to begin late July or early August of this year. The campaign will officially introduce the Zencrate to the world by allowing customers to purchase the intelligent dog den. Lightcap and Azevedo have approved the video for the Kickstarter campaign and the stream of positive testimonials from customers who’ve tested the dog crate in their homes.

Additionally, the team at PNP Robotics has also enlisted the aid of world-renowned, animal trainer for celebrities Dennis Urrutia, who has over 24 years of experience within the industry. He is the owner and founder of K-9 Specialist, a South Florida-based business.

The funds from the Kickstarter campaign will be used to drive down the costs of manufacturing in an effort to make the Zencrate more affordable for households across the country.

With expenditures within the pet industry growing at accelerated rates, PNP Robotics is confident that their Kickstarter campaign will raise a significant amount of capital and increase awareness for their innovative, homeopathic, pet-friendly, intelligent dog den, Zencrate.
