Crestwood Technology Group (CTG) is an integrated logistics and supply chain management solutions company (https://www.ctg123.com), serving the aerospace and defense industry. CTG recently sponsored the "16th Annual CAPT Ed Morgan Memorial Golf Tournament" to help raise donations for the American Cancer Society. CTG has been the title sponsor of this event for the last four years with a commitment to aid cancer research for a cure.

The event is named after Navy Supply Corps Captain Ed Morgan, who lost his battle to cancer while serving on active duty at NAS Patuxent River. As a company that works hand in hand with our nation’s military, CTG knows the sacrifice our service men and women offer for our freedoms. This memorial event is an opportunity to give back and support our troops and our nation in one of the biggest battles that we face today.

CTG partnered with the Navy Supply Corps Foundation, Pax River Chapter, to sponsor the event. As a socially responsible company, CTG’s goal is to bring together a wide variety of businesses throughout Southern Maryland to participate in a corporate social responsible (CSR) event supporting the battle for a cure. NAS Patuxent River is an ideal location for the event, allowing participants to view the latest and greatest aircraft in the US military arsenal. Participants were even able to view a brand new Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II fighter aircraft on the 8th hole!

This year the event drew participants from New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Maryland; including military active duty members, DoD employees and civilians, all wanting to give back. The event raised close to $6,000.00 to support the fight against cancer. This amount has grown every year since the first annual event. CTG is committed to continuing this proud tradition next year to support the troops and our nation’s fight against cancer.
