Ace Lymphoma Luncheon Raises Over $100,000 at 7th Annual Event
West Orange, NJ (PRWEB) July 01, 2016 -- The Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF) – the nation’s largest non-profit organization devoted exclusively to funding innovative lymphoma research and serving the lymphoma community through a comprehensive series of education programs, outreach initiatives and patient services – hosted its 7th Annual Ace Lymphoma Luncheon at the historic Mayfair Farms in West Orange, NJ on June 13, 2016, raising over $105,000 in support of LRF and its mission to eradicate lymphoma and serve those touched by this disease.
This year’s exclusive partners included Saks Fifth Avenue at the Mall at Short Hills, Daniella Ortiz Design of Palm Beach, HAVERHILL, Irina G., Jodi Rose Originals, Mikal Designs and Tiffany's Trinkets, providing private shopping boutiques to event patrons and donating a portion of the day’s proceeds to LRF. Since its inception in 2010, the Ace Lymphoma Luncheon has raised over $700,000 in support of the Lymphoma Research Foundation’s innovative research programs.
“We at Saks Fifth Avenue at The Mall at Short Hills are thrilled to be able to support the Ace Lymphoma Luncheon year after year,” said Kristi Brink, Vice President, General Manager of Saks Fifth Avenue Short Hills. “Our continued partnership with the Lymphoma Research Foundation is one that we hold dear, and the proceeds generated from today illustrate the impact that we are able to make through our continued cooperation in finding a cure.”
Gladys Cook, Toby Cooperman, Rellye Corwin, Vivian Friedman, Frankie Oberst, and Dr. Marcia Robbins-Wilf served as co-chairs for the 2016 Luncheon. In addition to the exclusive shopping boutiques, the afternoon included raffles, complimentary make-overs from Guerlain Beauty, Saks Fifth Avenue Short Hills, an afternoon card party, and a special keynote presentation from one of the nation’s leading lymphoma experts, Morton Coleman, MD, New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell Medical Center.
