"Behind The Scenes" with James Earl Jones Highlights Advances in LED Technology for Public Television
(PRWEB) July 02, 2016 -- Behind the Scenes has taken public knowledge to new heights about practically every topic from health care to food innovations and beyond. This series is made for people who want an overview of any particular topic, so they can better understand how America is functioning today in comparison to the past and their peers. It also can provide a glimpse into the future of our nation as well. This time, it's LED lightbulbs that are up for discussion on a new segment topic to debut soon.
Ever since humans first figured out how to harness electricity, there have been incredible improvements on how efficient we make our lighting equipment. Light-emitting diodes take up far less power than regular bulbs, and thus use less energy during any given session. Given the electricity bills that have plunged for consumers choosing these at their local hardware store, there's been a lot of incentives for companies to make them better than ever. Viewers will learn more about how they can utilize these new innovations to help save money, and help the environment by preventing unnecessary fuel consumption. It's a win-win for nearly everyone involved and just another step towards becoming more efficient with our power sources.
APT and PBS do not air Behind the Scenes, and are unrelated entities. Public Television stations air the program at their sole discretion.
