Chicago (PRWEB) July 01, 2016
G2 Crowd, the world’s leading business software review platform, today released the Spring 2016 Website Hosting Grid report to help businesses make the best website hosting technology decision. Pantheon and GoDaddy were named Leaders in the report, receiving strong customer satisfaction scores with a large market presence.
WP Engine, SiteGround, InMotion Hosting, and DreamHost were named High Performers in the report, earning strong customer satisfaction marks with a smaller market presence score. Pantheon earned the highest overall satisfaction score, while GoDaddy earned the highest overall market presence score.
The Grid leverages customer satisfaction data reported by authenticated users along with vendor market presence determined from social and public data. Based on a combination of these scores, each software solution is categorized as a Leader, High Performer, Contender or Niche.
•CMS platforms strongly supported — User reviews and ratings indicated a high level of satisfaction with the support provided for content management systems, rating it highest among hosting management features at 89 percent on average.
•Email hosting with room to improve — Email hosting functionalities were rated lower than other hosting management features at 74 percent, suggesting that these features do not meet user needs.
•Low price, low satisfaction — Despite appreciating the price point of more affordable website hosting providers in short-answer responses, users would be likely to recommend these products at a lower rate than some of the more expensive providers in the category.
About the Website Hosting Providers Grid report:
•The report is based on more than 310 reviews written by business professionals.
•Of the 54 products listed in G2 Crowd’s Website Hosting Providers category, the ranked products each received ten or more reviews to qualify for inclusion on the Grid.
