Our family has enjoyed 33 years on this island and we would trade it for no other. - Carrie Upchurch
Surf City, NC (PRWEB) July 02, 2016
To kick off what will be an amazing 4th of July weekend, the Surf City Fire Department will be given their largest annual beverage donation this year from local business owner and entrepreneur Adam Upchurch, who runs Topsail Island Real Estate. When asked, it’s obvious that the Upchurch’s truly love their neighbors and community.
“Our family feels lucky to be a part of this island. The people here make it such a pleasant place to live and take your family on vacation. We are proud to support our community and help it grow.” - Adam Upchurch
These contributions over the years have helped to develop a local tradition and continues to help the community and the heroes in the Surf City Fire Department. Managed by Performance Sails Marketing and being one of BlueCoast Realty’s primary websites, TopsailIslandRealEstate.com serves as the top real estate website on the island. Their support continues to help develop Surf City’s local economy and culture. Being the primary supporters for Surf City’s 4th of July fireworks celebration at Soundside Park, which is no doubt the largest and one of the city’s most coveted events, allows the Upchurch Family the ability to assist the Surf City Fire Auxiliary and their efforts.
Donations in 2013 by the Upchurch Family helped to almost double and triple the annual beverage profits for the event, and through the years this has consistently been the case. Once again, the donations on behalf of the family will most likely help to bring in triple the profits for Surf City's Fire Department in 2016. The donated beverages, totaling a record 1,400 in number, will help to continue the record-setting tradition. Like last year, there will be a limited edition 2016 commemorative koozie that will be given to the first 1,000 visitors who purchase a beverage at the event. If you’re hungry, don’t forget that the Surf City Fire Auxiliary will be offering various food choices, including hot dogs. Purchases of food and beverages is highly encouraged as the profits will help the hardworking members of the Surf City Fire Department purchase supplies to help benefit the community!
After breaking ground as the first family to donate beverages at the event in 2013, the Upchurch Family has helped continue what has become now an annual tradition that helps benefit the Surf City Fire Department. Their initial contributions have helped pave the way and inspired local businesses like Food Lion, McDonalds, and other local partners to donate. This year’s celebration takes place on the 3rd of July, where local musicians will kick off activities and start playing at 6:00 pm in Soundside Park. The beautifully renovated amphitheater will be in full decoration and the fireworks display will start at dusk, whether it’s rain or shine. There are fantastic locations all over the area to view the magnificent display, but few can beat the magic of viewing the display in the park itself.
Adam Upchurch’s website, TopsailIslandRealEstate.com is a family owned local business that is managed by himself and his wife, Carrie Upchurch. Adam Upchurch is connected throughout the community and serves on the local Topsail Island Association of Realtors board. Working alongside buyers and sellers from across the United States, they help with property in over 5 different counties and over 18 coastal locations. The website’s fantastic database of listings allow its users to help sort through properties that meet their needs, explore different neighborhoods and communities, find out insights regarding property values and schools, and easily find a place they can call “home”. The couple also offers clients the ability to search for homes reaching from Wilmington down to Ocean Isle Beach, with their top rated WilmingtonHomesForSale.com website.
