Hilton Head, South Carolina (PRWEB) July 04, 2016
On July 1, 2016, Catherine Wayland, an ezine owner in Hilton Head, South Carolina launched her 10 year anniversary issue,International Family Magazine. The anniversary issue features the authors that contributed to the ezine, bringing fans to the site with their stories. International Family Magazine hopes to make the world smaller for one another by telling our stories from all different parts of the world.
International Family Magazine is also known for stories about all kinds of family, international adoption, single parents, multi-cultural, blended, and on and on. "This issue is very special to me," says Catherine, "because I went back to my first story teller and did a sequel piece." The story of "Martita and her Cuba" and now the sequel, "Marta and her America" is a quintessential piece for International Family Magazine, which makes its home with Catherine Wayland, on Hilton Head Island. These stories tell of a young girl of 15 who leaves her country of Cuba from the oppressive government of the times, and comes to the United States for opportunity and freedom, but brings her traditions with her.
Many of the stories in International Family Magazine enlighten the cultural differences as it confirms the similarities. IF mag brings people together to tell stories, break down boundaries of region or culture and all sit around the hearth of great storytelling together. Catherine Wayland, owner of IF mag, will be leaving Hilton Head in the next few weeks to bring her ezine down further south to pursue her writing and her doctoral degree.
