The Less Exposure Surgery Society will be hosting the first annual LESSociety Business Symposium, which will be held in Key Largo, Florida from August 12-14. This think tank will be an educational and networking event for fellows and surgeons, and feature discussions on the changing business of spine surgery and the newest techniques and technologies for Less Exposure Surgeries. Aditya Humad, cofounder and CFO of KICVentures will be a guest lecturer discussing ‘A Ten-Year History: An Approach to Investing in Health and Technology.’

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to speak in front of such a brilliant collection of spine surgeons,” Humad said. “It will be extremely exciting to see what new ideas can come out of this gathering.”

The event will be facilitated by a number of surgeons who have been practicing in academics and private practice for over ten years. Orthopedic Spine Surgeon, Dr. Vivek Kushwaha is one of the senior faculty members and is a partner at Orthopedic Associates, Houston.

“The LESSociety is a great resource as a means for surgeons to share ideas and develop new ones,” Kushwaha says, “and it provides the groundwork for innovation for future generations of surgeons.”
