Recruitology Acquires Cross-Post Classified Networks to Expand Candidate Reach for Employers

Recruitology, a recruitment platform used by over 200 publishers and media companies to help 50,000+ employers more efficiently recruit talent, has acquired Cross-Post. Founded in 2004 by two former job board and executive search professionals, Cross-Post connects some of the U.S.’ largest media publishers and their advertisers with the right talent through niche sites in healthcare, diversity, transportation, veterans, energy, and others.

Recruitology enables publishers to provide local employers with a recruitment platform that includes applicant tracking, analytics, intelligent job ad targeting and now, access to one of the largest job-seeking audiences accessible through 1,500+ specialty job boards and destination sites. Through the acquisition, Cross-Post’s publisher and media partners will join Recruitology’s partner network. Recruitology’s publisher and media partner network grew as employers, through their local newspaper, wanted an easier way to target jobs to college students and recent grads on AfterCollege has long led the market for entry-level hiring, growing to over 5,000,000 annual visitors since 1999. Today it represents students at over 18,000 academic departments and groups from 2,300 universities, with more than 400,000 jobs and internships from 25,000 employers.

Through the partnership with Cross-Post, Recruitology has evolved into a recruitment platform. It encompasses recruitment technology and job distribution capabilities that extend beyond the entry-level segment to also include vocational, hourly and verticals such as healthcare, engineering and niche audiences such as veterans and diversity groups.
