Performance Marketing Association Releases Salary Survey Results
Middletown, DE (PRWEB) July 08, 2016 -- The Performance Marketing Association (PMA) has released its 2016 Salary Survey Results. The organization’s Measurements and Insights Council surveyed performance-based marketing companies including agencies, vendors, affiliates, and merchants to determine salary ranges for various positions common in the performance marketing industry. The resulting report compares salary and non-compensation benefits across positions as well as changes since the previous annual survey.
Among other results, the report found that 36% of CEOs in the industry reported a salary of over $200,000 a year with 52% receiving over $50,000 in non-salary compensation. The respondents included companies ranging in size from those with only 1 employee (12% of respondents) to those with over 1000 employees (13% of respondents).
Other results in the survey included salary ranges for C-Level employees and executives, Marketing Department employees, Sales employees, and Technology department employees. Of particular interest were the salaries for Affiliate Marketing Managers and Senior Affiliate Marketing Managers and how those salaries compared to the last reporting cycle.
“Our salary survey is unique in that it focuses on members of the performance marketing industry,” explains Rachel Honoway, current PMA Board of Directors President. “Because we did not limit the survey to our members, we were able to capture data from a wide range of performance marketing businesses. The resulting report paints a picture of a thriving, expanding industry.”
Compared to the organization’s first such survey, the newly released Salary Survey Results show growth in the performance marketing space and indicate opportunities not only for substantial salaries but also non-salary compensation regardless of the size of the companies.
The Salary Survey Report is available for download on the Performance Marketing Association website.
