International Association INTIX Announces 2017 Conference Details

Professionals from across the globe will converge on the bank of the Mississippi River in New Orleans next January 24–26 to consider trends in the rapidly changing business of selling attendance to live events. That is according to INTIX, the International Ticketing Association, which has produced the conference for 38 years running. The Annual Ticketing Conference & Exhibition will also host vendors with some of the industry’s most innovative solutions.

INTIX is known for delivering dynamic speakers and enlightening educators at its conferences—and for a short time will be inviting leaders to join its upcoming lineup. “The ticketing industry is in such incredible transition right now,” says Jena L. Hoffman, CEO. “We’re really eager to hear what the most forward-thinking professionals have to say about where we’re going and the best way to get there.” Submission deadline for event speaker opportunities is Friday, July 22, 2016.

Every year, the conference also celebrates industry leadership at its award ceremony. “The people making creative advances in service, solutions and initiatives deserve to be recognized,” says Jena L. Hoffman, CEO. “Their achievement redounds to our entire community and the work that it does.” 2016 award winners included Christina Allen and Juliette Mohamed of Senator Sports & Entertainment, Joe Carter of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Amy Kline of ShowClix, Christina Pryor of the Grand Ole Opry Group, and Robert Beatty of Madison Square Garden.

INTIX provides promotional grants for select professionals and potential talents to gain access to the event. “We are firm believers in the importance of education and a professional community, no matter where you are in your career,” says Jena L. Hoffman, CEO. “That’s why we set money aside to cover registration, membership (if they aren’t currently a member), hotel and flight for the most deserving applicants.” Submission deadline for grant applications is Friday, September 2, 2016.

A virtual company with a worldwide reach, the International Ticketing Association leads by connecting professionals involved in entertainment ticketing to the education, innovation, tools and relationships necessary to ignite success. More at intix.org.
