WARRENDALE, Pa. (PRWEB) July 11, 2016 -- Innospec will sponsor a two-day workshop on the effects of fuel system deposits immediately following the SAE 2016 International Powertrains, Fuels & Lubricants Meeting, which will be held Oct. 24-26 at the Lord Baltimore Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.
The “Fu el System Deposits, Formation and Effects Workshop” will discuss:
• Diesel fuel stability and deposit formation mechanisms
• Particulate and water contamination filtration and filter blocking issues
• Diesel internal injector deposits
• Diesel injector spray-hole deposits, formation and effects
• Gasoline fuel injector deposit effects
• Gasoline engine deposit formation
“In today’s environment of increasingly complex and uncompromising injection systems, fuels are becoming more challenged than ever before. The SAE Deposit Workshop will address in detail the causes of injector fouling and contribute understanding towards the development of solutions which will enable trouble-free usage of modern gasoline and diesel engines,” Dr. Ian MacMillan, Vice-President -- Technology, Innospec Fuel Specialties, said.
