Freedom Financial Network Posts Debt Negotiation Results for Second Quarter of 2016
San Mateo, Calif. (PRWEB) July 12, 2016 -- Freedom Financial Network (FFN), the largest negotiator of consumer debt in the nation, reports results for the second quarter of 2016 that include negotiation of $371 million of debt for clients – up nearly 10 percent over the first quarter of the year.
During the second quarter, FFN negotiated settlements on 74,239 individual creditor accounts, an increase of almost 14 percent over the first quarter of 2016. The company helped 45,076 individual clients, up 12.3 percent over the prior quarter. The results equate to negotiating $4.1 million of debt each day throughout the quarter, or a record $169,812 each hour.
The results continue to build on FFN’s record 2015, when the company exceeded $1 billion in amount of debt negotiated for clients in a calendar year.
“While there are indications of an expanding economy across the United States, the economic advantages are tenuous for some people, especially those with credit problems,” says Andrew Housser, FFN co-founder and CEO. He cites an increase in both revolving debt (primarily credit card debt) and non-revolving over the past several months. “At Freedom Financial Network, we are finding that an increasing number of consumers are anxious for help in getting out of debt in this economy. We have been able to help that happen for hundreds of thousands of people.”
FFN is a consumer credit advocate that negotiates directly with creditors on consumers’ behalf to resolve debt balances. Offering an alternative to credit counseling, debt consolidation and bankruptcy, the company’s debt relief program helps clients resolve their unsecured debt, often in 24 to 48 months.
