Dr. David F. Felsburg’s new award-winning book, Making The Little Much - Organizing Small Groups To Become Big, ($19.49, paperback, 9781498439183; $9.99, e-book, 9781498439190) answers a myriad of questions surrounding the effective leadership of small group Bible studies. It shows how to find, identify, develop, and use God’s especially gifted people to prepare small groups for exceptional growth. The author explains that God has provided people with spiritual gifts that often go unrecognized and unused throughout the best years for their effective ministries. Dr. Felsburg focuses on how to effectively organize small groups to become big. It describes the Biblical bases for organizing, provides job descriptions for organizational leaders, shows how to measure the leader’s success and shows how to apply those techniques to participants of all age groups and statuses – from adult applications to singles, youth, children, pre-school and cradle roll ministries.
“Many outstanding leaders have started Bible studies only to see them stagnate or even decline in size as they reached out for new members,” states the author. “My book focuses on using people who are especially gifted by God to lead the efforts of teaching, reaching out, reaching in, administering, socializing and ministering to care groups in a highly elastic group environment. Even the best leaders become frustrated from time to time and think of resigning ministries where they do not feel equipped to succeed.”
