We are absolutely thrilled and honored to have this group of high ranking media executives serve as our Advisory Board.

Zip, The Question Answer App, is partnering with former Fox executives Sandy Grushow, Jon Hookstratten, Ira Kurgan and Jay Tobin, President of Looking Glass Entertainment to take it to the next level.
The app works as an innovative polling platform, allowing its users to ask opinion-based questions and receive answers in real time. Since everything is kept 100% anonymous, users have the freedom to answer honestly and without repercussions when discussing the big topics of the day. There is also a proprietary feature that enables media channels to incorporate Zip as an exclusive instant communication channel with their audience. The QuickCode feature gives media channels the ability to ask their audience questions and allows the user to engage with the media outlet in real time. The media channels then garner granular data from participants.
“Zip has it all,” states Hookstratten, former Executive Vice President at Fox. “Simple to understand, easy to use, and it produces multiple forms of usable data.”
Kurgan, the former Head of Business Operations at Fox, weighed in as well, stating: “I believe that being able to gauge what the public is really thinking about issues and trends is incredibly valuable in today’s fast-moving and disruptive environment. Helping Zip become a regular part of consumers’ daily interaction with the world we live in is exciting to me.”
The four execs form the basis of the Zip Advisory Board, which will be responsible for integrating Zip into media networks and identifying and qualifying investors. They will also be active in executive level decisions and developing national and global brand partnerships.
"We are absolutely thrilled and honored to have this group of high ranking media executives serve as our Advisory Board" said Zip Founder and CEO, Ric Militi. “They instantly recognized the value Zip brings in the form of content and consumer engagement. Their clear understanding of the direction the media is moving towards, combined with their relationships in the media industry will help make Zip the next iconic social media platform."
Grushow, Hookstratten, Kurgan and Tobin have a proven track record of high-level successes and will bring their vast experience to Zip’s executive management team.
"While it's impossible to predict with 100% accuracy what will or won't resonate with today's consumer, I, for one, have found it difficult to tear myself away from the highly addictive nature of ZIP's Q&A polling format," shared Grushow, CEO of Phase2Media and former Chairman at Fox TV. "That's as good a litmus test as any for determining which companies one should invest their time and energy helping to build."
Zip is already averaging over 1,000,000+ answers a week with people weighing in from cities across the nation. It’s available for free download on all iOS, Android, and Microsoft devices.
Zip is the latest product to come out of the San Diego based, technology think tank Crazy Raccoons LLC. It launched into the app marketplace in October 2015, shedding light on the millions of questions running through people’s heads during every second of every day. From settling arguments to answering business questions, Zip brings knowledge and fun to the palm of your hand.
