Don Farilla grew up on the south side of Chicago, Englewood area where he went to Raster grammar school, Dyett Middle School, and Harper High School. He went on to become a licensed cosmetologist and own a chain of beauty salons on the south side of Chicago. He also became a notorious narcotics dealer from 1986 to 1992 when he was later named in a multiple-count federal indictment. That led to a 13 year, 2 month stretch in federal prison. He now lives in downtown Chicago with a pleasant view of the lake.
Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Don Farilla’s mesmerizing work will leave the reader fascinated.
“True Gangsters Don't Fold” is about a young man that grew up in the ruthless streets of Chicago. He survived and put together a team of hard core gangsters that would run through fire if need be. They made millions of dollars and did whatever they had to do to get it. A businessman by nature with ideas that would make it out the nefarious streets of Englewood. The federal government didn't like that idea so they investigated the Don until they were able to put together a case that would take him and his organization down. But little did they know true gangsters don't fold under no kind of pressure. DON Farilla took the weight and pressure off a lot of families that would have lost the bread winners of their household. He ended up in a one man conspiracy.
Readers who wish to experience this strong work can purchase “True Gangsters Don't Fold” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
