Widner Charles, a devoted Christian and husband to his late wife, has completed his new book “A View from the Pew”: a quest to analyze the multiple perspectives of Christianity and the place of faith through a lens of love.
This book was originally the conception of his late wife, Alice, and she wrote it until her illness took over and made writing impossible. “(I) then dutifully and lovingly took it upon (myself) to finish the rest of the book as a beautiful tribute to (my) late wife.”
Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Widner Charles’ passionate work serves well as a devotional in which Christians can get a better understanding of the variety of people with which they share the world, from atheists to devotees to other religions and to pastors with ungodly motivations.
Rather than serving as a platform from which to judge others, Charles preaches love and understanding for those who are different. For many years, he and his dear Alice shared a pew in church then returned home to discuss the message, their faith, and do readings together. Here is their view from that pew.
Readers who wish to experience this compassionate work can purchase “A View from the Pew” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
