Movable Ink Hires John Herman as Chief Financial Officer

Former American Express and Yodle/Web.com executive joins as Movable Ink continues strong financial momentum and global growth.

John joins us during a time of rapid growth, and his experience will be instrumental in achieving our long term growth plans through prudent financial management.

Movable Ink, the global leader in contextual email technology, today announced the appointment of John Herman as Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Herman brings to Movable Ink more than 18 years of experience in strategic financial planning and business analysis at digital marketing companies Yodle and Web.com and enterprise brands American Express and BMW. As Chief Financial Officer, Herman will oversee Movable Ink’s overall financial management including strategic planning, accounting and managing investor relationships.

Mr. Herman most recently served as Senior Vice President, Finance and Operations for website and online marketing company Web.com. He was previously Chief Financial Officer for marketing strategy firm Yodle, where he led all financial aspects of strategic review, sale process, due diligence and the ultimate sale of Yodle to Web.com. Before that, he served as Yodle’s Vice President, Corporate Planning and Business Operations. Prior to Yodle, Herman held several senior finance positions at American Express, most recently Vice President, Finance. Before that, Herman was Manager, Business Development for BMW of North America.
