Ovation Fertility Invited to Share Male Infertility and PGS Research at World-Recognized Conference

Ovation Fertility TM - Leading IVF Lab
ESHRE and ASRM invite us to present because Ovation Fertility is being viewed as a leader in our industry

Ovation Fertility presented this month at the prestigious European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) annual meeting in Helsinki, Finland. Topics presented included emerging protocols that provide greater flexibility and cost-efficiency in an in vitro fertilization cycle.

Day 7 blastocysts prove beneficial for preimplantation genetic screening cycles. – John Whitney, Embryologist, Ovation Fertility™ Newport Beach.

Clinical freeze preservation of whole human testicular tissue: the practicality of pre-freeze in vitro culture (IVC) at 30°C to insure good post-thaw sperm motility. – Mitch Schiewe, PhD, Lab Director, Ovation Fertility™ Newport Beach.

PGS Research Investigates Day 7 Embryos

ESHRE is a world-recognized society in reproductive science and medicine and accepts only a small percentage of the several thousand research abstracts it receives for the annual meeting. It provides a forum for the exchange and discussion of new clinical and scientific ideas. In the past 30 years, the annual meeting has grown to be an international event with more than 100 nationalities and an attendance of about 9,000 delegates.

“We feel honored to share this platform with thought leaders from the global reproductive medicine community,” says Ovation Fertility Chief Executive Officer Nate Snyder. “It is no small accomplishment to be invited to present, and we feel our researchers’ work speaks to our stature as being on the forefront of innovation in advanced reproductive technology.”

Embryologist John Whitney was instrumental in developing the blastocyst biopsy program for the Southern California Center for Reproductive Medicine. He contributes to ongoing research and scientific publications. At ESHRE, he presented research on the viability of Day 7 embryos, combined with preimplantation genetic screening, as a credible option resulting in live birth.

Improving Upon Sperm Freezing Techniques

To date, Dr Schiewe has served as an author or co-author of 35 peer-reviewed papers and 70 abstracts presented at national and international meetings. His paper covers a procedure for the cryopreservation of intact testicular tissue that leads to improved post-thaw outcomes for male infertility treatments involving surgical sperm retrieval.

Ovation Fertility as Industrywide Leader

In addition to the ESHRE annual meeting, Ovation Fertility will fill a significant percentage of the agenda at the 2016 American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) meeting in October in Salt Lake City, Utah.

“ESHRE and ASRM invite us to present because Ovation Fertility is being viewed as a leader in our industry,” notes Mr. Snyder. “Through our national network, sharing of best practices and listening to the ‘data,’ we are creating breakthrough treatment protocols that are helping intended parents build families one healthy baby at a time.”

Ovation Fertility’s growing roster includes high-complexity laboratories in California, Nevada, Tennessee and Texas and partnerships with the country’s leading fertility centers and more than 50 of the nation’s top fertility specialists. Together, Ovation Fertility partners work to help a global infertility population build families.
