Quinn, a longtime resident of Safford AZ is a 1980 graduate of Thatcher High School and also served in the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Marine Corps from 1981 to 1993. He received his Bachelor of Science degree with honors from Kaplan University and Master of Divinity (Military Chaplaincy) degree from Liberty University. At the ceremony, Quinn was awarded his Executive Juris Doctor of Law (EJD) degree. Quinn was acknowledged by the faculty and graduates of Concord Law School during the ceremony as being one of only three graduates who actually brought three of his grandchildren and two of his children with him to the graduation event. “We acknowledge and thank the spouses, children, grandchildren and family members who have supported their graduate(s) during their pursuit of a law degree and higher education,” Interim Dean, Larry David stated.
The graduating class included 42 graduates of the Juris Doctor program and 29 graduates of the Executive Juris Doctor program. In addition, this class included four graduates of Concord’s Small Business Practice LLM program designed for lawyers and law school graduates who want practical courses focused on the needs of small business clients.
The keynote address was given by Theodore (Ted) Calleton, LLB, of Counsel with Calleton, Merritt, deFrancisco & Bannon LLP, in Pasadena CA, focusing on estate planning, life insurance and irrevocable trusts and also the author & co-author of six books on these topics. The event also included guest speakers from Concord Law School, including Interim Dean, Larry David and Associate Dean, Steve Bracci. The event included an after graduation luncheon.
Quinn’s family who attended (pictured) included: wife Janet Quinn, mother Diana Quinn, grand-daughter Celise Hensen, brother and sister-in-law William and Maury Quinn with nephew Dominic Quinn, daughter and son-in-law Dick and Chelsea Wong with grand-children Eric and Allison, and daughter Tessarah Quinn
