Generations Federal Credit Union has launched AutoSMART, the credit union’s new online auto-finder resource. Through AutoSMART, shoppers can research thousands of vehicles, compare, read reviews and receive trade-in values all in one place. When shoppers are ready to make a purchase, the website simplifies the process by directly linking to Generations FCU’s online auto loan application.

“The AutoSMART platform is another way our credit union is focusing on and enhancing overall service to our members,” said Steve Schipull, Generations Federal Credit Union president and CEO. “Consumers have an array of choices when it comes to financial services, so simplifying, streamlining and bringing options to them in their homes and on their mobile devices is a convenience that offers a competitive edge.”

Other features of AutoSMART include the ability to contact dealers directly from the site, payment calculators to determine estimated monthly payments and links to vehicle history and value guides. The site also provides links to Generations Insurance Services which gives consumers access to competitive bids from up to 60 A-rated insurance companies.

AutoSMART is made possible through the Credit Union Direct Lending (CUDL) program, a credit-union service organization that provides indirect lending and point-of-sale services to the credit union industry. More information can be found at
