St Helens Plant based in Merseyside, UK are well known for their innovations in fabrications. The start of this month sees yet another problem solving solution designed, manufactured and supplied by the UK’s leading scaffolding manufacturers.

The Universal Gate has been designed with the ability to be used in conjunction with all types of scaffolding including; Cuplock, Kwikstage and Ringlock system scaffolds. The flexibility of the gate means it can seamlessly be used on both types of system, providing cost saving benefits for those that stock, supply and utilise various types of system. The Universal Gate is an industry first in the field when it comes to hybrid-type scaffolding supplies and non-mechanical access equipment.

Over recent years the popularity of Cuplock and Kwikstage has soared, with many scaffolding companies either supplying or utilising various types of system. St Helens Plant manufacture both the original version of Cuplock and Kwikstage alongside their own accredited version, R2Lok and R2Stage. Providing customers locally, nationally and internationally with guaranteed safety of supply, innovation in fabrication and diversity in solutions. In February of this year the team became finalists in the UK’s Construction News Specialists Awards, due their innovations, fabrications and commitment on safety of supply.
