The dairy products manufacturing brand chose EnterWorks for its unique master data management platform and network capabilities

HP Hood, one of the country’s largest dairy operators and distributors of dairy products in the United States, has selected Enterworks, the leading software provider for master data management (MDM) and product information management (PIM) solutions, as its platform provider for its enterprise-wide initiative to improve the commerce experience. EnterWorks’ robust enterprise content network will enable HP Hood to master data domains such as product, brand, and location to boost its commerce activities.

The company will also utilize Enterworks’ Portal Technologies. The deployment of EnterWorks Vendor Portal and GDSN integration will further enable collaboration with trading partners and industry data pools.

“We recognize that the demands of today’s food consumer require us to deliver compelling, quality content for commerce,” said Jack Billiel, senior business technology leader at HP Hood. “We’ve made a promise to our customers to provide superior product quality and innovation, and we must work together with our wholesale and retail partners as well as our technology partners to achieve this ongoing challenge. We chose EnterWorks because the platform is best suited to help us achieve information and technology excellence while driving both efficiency and revenue growth.”

EnterWorks' MDM and PIM platform is designed for robust collaboration in a Business-to-Business-to-Customer (B2B2C) model. The platform engages content partners in continuous content sharing that meets industry standards such as GS1, retailer-specific add-on requirements from major chains such as Kroger, and rich visual and content needs of premier brands. The platform encompasses a multi-domain MDM, a robust PIM, portal technology and an Enterprise class workflow engine.

“We are excited to contribute to the information technology and business success of HP Hood,” said Rick Chavie, CEO of EnterWorks. “Having recently made a series of investments in the food and consumer products industry this year, we’re well positioned to build on our achievements in this vertical and make a significant contribution to HP Hood’s enterprise-wide initiative to improve the commerce experience. Our new software release incorporates exciting new capabilities in areas ranging from data quality and embedded product standards to exceptional performance scaling that easily accommodates multi-billion dollar companies such as HP Hood.”
