These photos can then be aggregated and displayed on the website in a variety of ways such as an attractive photo gallery, a photo-strip on the home page or to augment stock photos on product pages. These ‘visual testimonials’ are really powerful because human brains are wired to process visuals 60,000 times faster than text. Jai also touched upon the benefits of harnessing these visual testimonials which are:
- Increased discovery of new products via user generated pictures
- Customer selfies being converted into sales
- Average of 21% increase in conversation rates
- Average of 15% increase in customer engagement.
