Kansas City. MO (PRWEB) August 01, 2016 -- Fit Bottomed Girls, the online phenomenon with millions of readers and followers on social media from their sites Fit Bottomed Girls, Fit Bottomed Mamas, Fit Bottomed Eats and Fit Bottomed Zen, are launching the Fit Bottomed Girls podcast, set to premiere on Monday, August 1st. Editors Jennipher Walters, Kristen Seymour and Erin Whitehead will join in alongside regular co-host Margo Donohue to inspire listeners to live a happier and healthier life filled with self-confidence and humor.
The Fit Bottomed Girls podcast episodes will be released every two to four weeks to start and will run approximately 30 minutes in length each with conversation on current events and real-time news, plus interviews with experts on fitness, health, nutrition, meditation, food and more. And, just as the sites are known for their fun, light-hearted, feel-good tone, the Fit Bottomed Girls podcast will bring that same attitude to the airwaves with real talk from the FBGs. The show will be available on iTunes, Sticher Radio, Google Play and on FitBottomedGirls.com.
“Each episode will be brimming with awesome and authentic discussion, tips and all of the info you need to truly be healthy inside and out,” said Fit Bottomed Girls co-founder Jennipher Walters. “We have created so much content over the years that cover all aspects of our readers’ lives -- from finding time to meditate to fitting in a Tabata workout -- that we realized this new platform will help us engage with our followers on an even deeper level,” she adds.
Created in 2008 by Walters and Erin Whitehead who combined their mutual love of all things pertaining to fitness (and clever Queen lyrics!), today the Fit Bottomed World includes a third business partner and editor, Kristen Seymour, and boasts more than a million followers on their various social media platforms including Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, YouTube and Snapchat.
"Creating a podcast is such a natural extension of the brand with its focus on being fun, accessible, informative and inspiring," says Donohue, who also produces and co-hosts the popular Book Vs. Movie podcast and is a fitness professional who teaches indoor cycling, group fitness as well as being a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) certified personal trainer. She has been a frequent contributor to Fit Bottomed Girls since 2011. "It's going to be so very FBG!"
First podcast guests scheduled for July/August episodes:
- Rebekah Borucki: Meditation expert and founder of Bexlife.com
- Elizabeth Goodman-Artis: Editor-in-chief of Shape magazine
- April Ross: Beach volleyball player who is competing as Kerri Walsh Jennings’ partner in the 2016 Summer Olympics
