Mr. Frank Marcinowski has more than 27 years’ experience ensuring the safe use, management and oversight of radioactive and nuclear materials. He has extensive expertise in environmental policy development and governmental affairs on a national, regional and local level. He joined the Department of Energy (DOE) in 2004 and currently serves as the Acting Associate Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Environmental Management (EM). In this capacity, Mr. Marcinowski resolves issues impacting EM and ensures effective operational and management support is provided to EM program offices and other DOE program elements.

Mr. Marcinowski will present, “DOE Environmental Management Cleanup Focus for FY17,” which supports the 2016 RadWaste Summit’s theme of Providing Key Solutions for Nuclear Materials Management. The 2016 Summit is taking place September 7-9, 2016 in Summerlin, NV and will feature discussions on the full range of issues facing the radioactive waste marketplace, including the overall Department of Energy waste mission, changes in spent fuel and nuclear waste policy, Nuclear Regulatory Commission low-level waste regulations and updates on the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers cleanup at FUSRAP sites.
