Facility Professionals Attending FMexpo August 9 to Explore Biomimicry, Indoor Environments, Smart Technology
Frisco, Texas (PRWEB) July 29, 2016 -- IFMA DFW’s annual FMexpo will be held 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 9th, at the Frisco Convention & Event Center at 7601 Gaylord Parkway in Frisco, Texas.
“This year we have assembled an array of educational programs, in addition to our usual outstanding service and product vendors who showcase solutions for our facility managers, property managers, engineers, architects and designers,” said Kevin Wallace, AIA, FMexpo Chair.
In its sixth year, FMexpo 2016 begins with an 11:30 a.m. networking hour, followed by a luncheon at 12:30, which features keynote speaker, Ron White who will speak on and demonstrate “The Five Secrets to an Unstoppable Memory.” Kathy Zarsky, Biomimicry Specialist and Systems Director with Holos, will deliver a presentation on “Biomimicry: Nature and the Hopeful City,” at 3 p.m. Simon Turner, CEO of Healthy Buildings, will discuss “New Standards for Indoor Environments” at 4 p.m. And John Ansbach, General Counsel for General Datatech, will speak on “The Internet of Things in Facility Management” at 5 p.m.
Throughout the afternoon, beginning at 2 p.m., attendees are invited to tour the service and product offerings of over 60 companies exhibiting in the ballroom of the Frisco Convention Center.
FMexpo 2016 is produced by the International Facility Management Association Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter. It is designed to help building professionals stay on top of the latest trends, services and products.
