Maria Velazquez came to New York for a two-week stay in early 2007, fell in love with the bustling city, earned her real estate license, and never looked back. With over 10 years in the business, Maria Velazquez has both onsite sales experience and a vast background in buyer investors at new developments. A native of Colombia, Maria moved to Miami at age 17 to pursue a culinary career. She holds an associate degree in dietetics from Miami Dade College and a culinary arts degree from Johnson & Wales University. Furthering her education, she also has a bachelor of arts degree in restaurant management at Florida International University. As a certified sommelier, Velazquez pursues her love for travel, good food, and wine in her free time. She is a true foodie and restaurant aficionado.
