Chicago (PRWEB) July 29, 2016
G2 Crowd, the world’s leading business software review platform, today released the Summer 2016 Search Advertising Software Grid report to help businesses make the best search advertising technology decision. AdWords, WordStream, Marin Software, and Kenshoo were named Leaders in the report, receiving a strong customer satisfaction score with a large market presence. WordStream earned the highest overall satisfaction score, while AdWords earned the highest overall market presence score.
The Grid leverages customer satisfaction data reported by authenticated users along with vendor market presence determined from social and public data. Based on a combination of these scores, each software solution is categorized as a Leader, High Performer, Contender or Niche.
•Wrong way — Compared to the Fall 2015 Search Advertising Grid℠ Report, the percentage of users who agree that search advertising products are going in the right direction fell four percentage points from 80 percent to 76 percent.
•Budgets shifting — The average percentage of reviewers’ ad spend through search advertising products is shifting upward. Compared to Fall 2015, the average percentage of reviewers spending less than $500,000 decreased 6 percentage points from 57 percent to 51 percent.
•Cross-channel vs. best of breed — Best of breed products that only offer search advertising capabilities did not necessarily prove to perform any better than cross-channel platforms. All that matters is whether or not it has access to Google Search Network.
About the Search Advertising Software Grid report:
•The report is based on more than 870 reviews written by business professionals.
•Of the 27 products listed in G2 Crowd’s Search Advertising category, the ranked products each received ten or more reviews to qualify for inclusion on the Grid.
