Georgia Manufacturing Alliance Leaders Receive “Buy From Georgia” Proclamation for Third Year from Governor Deal
Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) July 31, 2016 -- Leaders of the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance (GMA) proudly stand on the steps of the state Capitol as Governor Nathan Deal presents the third annual “Buy From Georgia” proclamation.
GMA Founder Jason Moss, noted, “We are thankful to see the continued growth in support of this grass roots movement to raise awareness of Georgia’s manufacturing community. This proclamation highlights some of the challenges faced by manufacturers to combat the misconception that we don’t make things in America. The facts are clear that around 10% of Georgia’s economy comes from the manufacturing sector and it accounts for more than 380,000 jobs in our state.”
“Although I was not able to attend the proclamation ceremony at the Capitol this year due to a death in our family, I was proud to see the GMA team pull together and make the event a huge success. The industry leaders who are involved in GMA are the best of the best and understand the power of working together.” said Moss
In addition to the proclamation, GMA has developed the Georgia Manufacturing Directory which is now available on Amazon. The members of GMA are listed with a description of the products or services they provide. The group is working together to make this directory a “Best Seller” on Amazon and ask everyone who wants to support he cause to buy a copy of the directory through Amazon on August 17th at 10:00am.
