Glacier Bancorp IT secure Change Management value and earn the 2016 Axios Systems’ Innovation of the Year award
Washington D.C., USA (PRWEB UK) 2 August 2016 -- Following implementation of Change Management improvement measures and a new visual process pipeline, Glacier Bancorp was awarded the Axios Systems’ Innovation of the Year award at the 2016 North American assyst User Forum.
For the Glacier Bancorp Change Management team, increasing demands on the change management process presented a challenge. They needed to find a way to make the critical information about changes being documented in assyst more readily available to advisors and decision-makers in IT. After thoroughly reviewing the situation, a decision was made to create a formal process pipeline for change management that was traceable, accountable, and aligned with IT leadership goals. Infrastructure components in assyst were then aligned to the new process pipeline so that it could be published to users via the assyst Report Wizard.
Chris Torma, Change Manager for Glacier Bancorp said: “The development and distribution of our Change Management Pipeline report in assyst paved the pathway of access to the process itself for our IT leadership, managers and supervisors at Glacier. The experts in IT, whose input is vital to the success of change management, now have a better means to see the big change picture and can help to make more fully-informed decisions. The tool also further enables the Change Management team to quickly provide valuable support to all customers of our change management process, including our colleagues in IT.
“We are humbled by this recognition from our partners at Axios, and are pleased to know that our work might serve as a model to other Axios customers seeking to use assyst tools to add value to their IT Service Management processes.”
Markos Symeonides, Executive Vice President at Axios Systems, said: “We are incredibly delighted to award Innovation of the Year to Glacier Bancorp. Our colleagues at Glacier are thought leaders in Change Management and many of their assyst peers are exploring ways to follow in their visual process pipeline footsteps.”
