Twelve Strangers Find Each Other through Facebook Experiment, Win Trip to Walt Disney World Courtesy of Oklahoma-based Rustic Cuff Jewelry Designer
Tulsa, Oklahoma (PRWEB) August 03, 2016 -- Jill Donovan, Jewelry Designer and CEO of the popular Rustic Cuff Brand, just revealed the winners of a six-month social media experiment late last month, via Rustic Cuff’s website and the fan-created “Addicted to Cuff’s” Facebook page.
Donovan, known for her spontaneous gifting and love of impromptu social media challenges, came up with the idea in early January when she posted a picture to a popular Facebook group aptly named for the followers’ love of the jewelry brand’s cuffs. The social media group Addicted to Cuffs members, that were enrolled in a “Cuff of the Month” group were told to watch the bottom of their monthly mailed Rustic Cuff box-set for missing puzzle pieces. Once the pieces were re-assembled, the picture would recreate a Donovan family photo at the popular ©Walt Disney Resort.
Two puzzle pieces per month were mailed out over a course of six months. The puzzle-piece recipients were left on their own to strategize how to locate the missing pieces and each other as well as put the puzzle back together and return it to the company headquarters—all this while beating the restricted deadline of Sept. 1st. Some that received the puzzle pieces didn’t even know there was a contest taking place unless they had been alerted through Facebook by other RC fans who have sought them out in order to win the grand prize. Puzzle pieces were distributed across the U.S. from Tulsa to Buffalo, New York.
Donovan’s impromptu social-media experiment proved to be a huge success, as twelve winners and their guests will soon be experiencing an all-expense-paid vacation to what is often proclaimed “The happiest place on Earth.” Donovan’s only winning requirement—“Go have a ton of fun and bring me back a souvenir t-shirt, size Medium.”
