Wayne, Pennsylvania (PRWEB) August 02, 2016
Ecolane, a global technology leader in transit software, announced the return of Ryan Larsen to the company’s operations, further demonstrating a commitment to aggressively building its business. Larsen is Ecolane’s first senior executive hire since the company’s acquisition by worldwide transportation provider, National Express in June, 2016.
Larsen, 50, will split his time between the company’s North American headquarters in Wayne, Pennsylvania and a satellite office in Elk Horn, Iowa and will initially focus his attention on accelerating Ecolane’s sales efforts. From 2006 to 2013, Larsen played a key role introducing Ecolane to the North American market which culminated in a contract with the state of Pennsylvania to utilize the company’s software for a statewide rollout, one of the first of its kind in the industry. As of August, 2016, Ecolane has successfully implemented software in 75% of Pennsylvania’s transit agencies.
“I am thrilled to rejoin Ecolane,” said Larsen. “We have a fantastic team with a core product that is unmatched in delivering real-time productivity gains for paratransit operations. Ecolane DRT’s extensive web-based features and functionality will continue to demonstrate its innovative and disruptive nature.”
Steve Ross, Ecolane’s Senior Vice President and General Manager, agrees.
“Ryan is rejoining Ecolane at an exciting time for our business,” said Ross. “With the National Express acquisition, we have the opportunity to expand and extend our product offerings and accelerate our investments in key personnel. Ryan brings with him a breadth of management experience and expertise in transit operations.”
Prior to this role at Ecolane, Larsen served as President of IntelliRide, a division of Transdev North America. He has also served on the Board of Directors for multiple organizations, including Texas Transit Association, Southwest Transit Association, and from 2009 to 2016, the board at Ecolane.
