ModernTribe.com's New Owner Amy Kritzer
"After fielding dozens, none were better positioned to take over the ModernTribe brand than Amy. She’s passionate, creative, and squarely representative of the core customer base. She’s the perfect fit,” says Rivlin Roberts.
Austin, TX (PRWEB) August 03, 2016
ModernTribe.com, the hip, design-forward online Judaica store, is now under new ownership. Amy Kritzer, founder of the award-winning recipe blog What Jew Wanna Eat and author of the Sweet Noshings cookbook is building on the success of the 9+ year old e-commerce website and Jewish lifestyle brand. Amy will act as President and her brother, Andrew Kritzer, will join the company as CEO.
“Updating Jewish recipes has been my passion for six years now. When I learned ModernTribe.com was for sale, I jumped at the chance to add funny Jewish gifts and modern Judaica to my recipe offerings. No e-commerce website modernizes the Jewish online shopping experience better than ModernTribe.com.”
Since 2010, What Jew Wanna Eat’s goal has been to make Judaism more approachable and fun through food. With recipes such as Bourbon and Coffee Braised Brisket and Black and White Cookie Cheesecake thousands of readers across the world have engaged with Amy’s recipes online, followed along as one of her 30,000+ Instagram followers, and attended live cooking demonstrations.
As of August 2, 2016 What Jew Wanna Eat and ModernTribe brands join forces to better serve both brands’ overlapping core customer-bases: hip American Jews who desire Jewish cooking and shopping resources that fit their modern lifestyle.
Rivlin Roberts confirms that Kritzer is the ideal candidate to continue to grow ModernTribe. “When ModernTribe.com was offered for sale, I was inundated with potential buyers. After fielding dozens, none were better positioned to take over the ModernTribe brand than Amy. She’s passionate, creative, and squarely representative of the core customer base. She’s the perfect fit,” says Rivlin Roberts.
Kritzer and Rivlin Roberts are working closely together during the ownership transition and are looking forward to ModernTribe’s fresh re-launch under the new ownership this fall. Customers of ModernTribe.com can expect new products, unique gift ideas, and integration with What Jew Wanna Eat’s creative Jewish recipes. Fans of both brands will now be able to enjoy a richer Jewish lifestyle experience with the combination of What Jew Wanna Eat and ModernTribe.com.
