CollegeWeekLive, a unique virtual engagement platform where students and colleges meet online, is proud to host the Department of Defense (DoD) Voluntary Education Program DoD Virtual Education College Fair on Thursday, August 11, 2016.

Active military personnel, veterans, and their family members are invited to login to this college fair anytime from 8:00AM-6:00PM EDT to chat online with education and benefit counselors about degree programs, career and technical certificate opportunities, and financial aid options. This online event also introduces new certificate programs that empower military personnel to gain the skills necessary for today’s most in-demand careers while on active duty.

During the virtual fair, attendees will have the opportunity to watch video presentations and participate in Q&As with education experts to gain personal advice on returning to school and accessing unique financial aid programs, including Post 9/11 GI Bill® benefits. Attendees can participate from government computers or from their own desktop, laptop, or mobile device.

“Navigating higher education can sometimes be daunting,” said Dawn Bilodeau, Chief, DoD Voluntary Education. “The DoD Virtual Education College Fair will give our active and veteran military personnel personal advice to help guide them through this often complex process. We’re excited to provide a powerful way to help them realize their highest potential.”

“We’re proud to partner with the Department of Defense to help members of our military and their families to achieve their academic and career goals,” said CollegeWeekLive President Sumant Mauskar.
