At the end of the Town Hall, Trump announced that there would be only one more question. As hundreds shouted Trump heard Jesse Connors in the cacophony asking, “How can we be praying for you?” Quieting everyone down, Trump directed the microphone to Jesse where he told Trump and Pence that he loved them and wanted to pray for them. In one of the most truly beautiful moments of the campaign, Trump and Pence both agreed.
This unplanned moment of these candidates emotionally participating in prayer with thousands watching is comforting the evangelical world for the Trump-Pence ticket.
