NDS-2016
Clinical and translation science to deliver potential cures for neurological diseases.
Santa Clara, California (PRWEB) August 04, 2016
United Scientific Group will host the 2nd Neurological Disorders Summit in Baltimore, September 07-09, 2016 (NDS-2016). The multidisciplinary meeting will bring together the neuroscientists, researchers, health professionals, clinicians, industry experts, and well-established and budding entrepreneurs to create a worldwide dialogue on various aspects and challenges of devastating neurological conditions. The series of keynote presentations, featured talks of special sessions and symposium, poster presentations, discussions and networking events will keep participants engaged in learning and making new connections.
NDS-2016 promises to engage a global audience for the exchange of ideas and perspectives for a better understanding of origin, development, clinical and translation science to deliver potential cures for neurological diseases. This international gathering will unravel important results concerning the mechanisms and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke, Autism, Migraine and other neurological disorders. NDS-2016 appears to be a perfect platform to establish a worldwide dialogue on various aspects and challenges of devastating neurological conditions.
The summit highlights talks and workshops from some of the top influential personalities working on various neurological disorders. Dr. Richard E. Cytowic is featured to speak on “Synesthesia and the Creative Spark.” Dr. Cytowic is an author and winner of the Montaigne Medal for his book “Wednesday is Indigo Blue.” He is best known for bringing synesthesia, which is a rare neurological phenomenon of blending of senses, into main science.
The symposium on “Primary Headache Disorders: Diagnosis & Treatment” is being organized by Dr. Paul G. Mathew of Harvard Medical School; and a special session on “Emerging Techniques of Fluorescence Guided Resection for Brain Tumors” will be chaired by Dr. Brent T. Harris of Georgetown University. An exclusive session on “Brain protection by adiabatic CO2 expansion for out of hospital cardiac arrest, stroke and spinal cord injury on animal models and first fortuitous clinical case” is conducted by Dr. Fontaine Guy from Pierre-and-Marie-Curie University; France. Dr. Guy is considered among one of the 216 individuals who have made a significant contribution to the study of cardiovascular disease since the 14th century.
