Kickfurther, the leading inventory crowdfunding marketplace that connects companies and individuals, is taking part in Startup Day Across America today in Boulder, Colorado, at an event to be attended by U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker & Congressman Jared Polis (D-Colo). Startup Day is a nationwide effort to raise awareness of entrepreneurial activity and job creation and to help generate support for startup communities across the country.

Mattermark rankings recently placed Kickfurther as the 4th fastest growing company in Boulder. The Kickfurther marketplace enables consumer product companies seeking capital to grow by sharing retail opportunities with individuals interested in entrepreneurship and consumer products.

“We bring the public into the retail supply chain and enable fans to fuel the growth of their favorite brands,” said Kickfurther Co-Founder & CEO Sean De Clercq. “Why not share profits with the customers and fans who have been supporting your business from the start? We appreciate that our hometown Congressman, Representative Polis, is supportive of efforts like ours to break new ground.”

Representatives Jared Polis and Darrell Issa launched Startup Day Across America in 2013 with the goal of engaging local entrepreneurs with members of Congress in talks about how federal policy can support their efforts to test new ideas, create new products, and grow their businesses.
