London, UK (PRWEB UK) 5 August 2016 -- Pokémon Go gamers listen up! There’s a new unlikely hotspot for capturing Pokémon characters...a home in South London.
A property in Clapham, on the market with sales platform Settled, appears to have been invaded by a pack of playful Pokémon characters. But unfortunately for fans of the new mobile game Pokémon Go, it’s not the hottest new 'gym' where you can battle with other trainers, but the work of a clever home seller looking to capture the attention of buyers in the area.
With downloads of the augmented reality game hitting 15 million worldwide, Pokémon fan Charlotte Williams came up with the fun idea of inserting the cute additions to her sale photos believing that they would attract more potential buyers to visit the property.
“I wanted to make my home stand out on the market and, as I love playing Pokémon Go I had the idea of adding the characters to the pictures of my home.”
The Pokémon characters feature in the photos of the exterior of the property as well as a number of rooms inside the house. Squirtle can be found having a relaxing soak in the tub, Pikachu perches on the edge of the sofa in the living room and Slowpoke pops up on the dining room table just waiting to be caught by a Poké Ball.
The one bedroom flat is on the market through Settled; a property platform which champions homeowners as the best people to sell their home were delighted to help Charlotte express her creative promotional idea.
Gemma Young, CEO and Co-Founder of Settled said: “Our platform gives homeowners access to edit and amend their photos and description enabling them to have more control over the way they sell their home. It was great to see one of our customers using her creative flair to good use with a quirky idea that’s totally on point for the Pokémon craze that seems to be sweeping the nation.”
As well as having the property promoted on Settled’s site; the platform advertise all their properties on Rightmove, Zoopla and PrimeLocation so the cheeky characters could be found far and wide!
Pokémon Go is everywhere, with new reports of the cheeky characters seemingly invading homes daily. If you want to check out this one bedroom flat (on the market for £588,000) on Settled and see whether Pikachu and the gang are still there, you’re free to book a viewing online.
